Ernest Bell

Head Instructor Ernest Bell has been training in Martial Arts for over 38 years. He holds a black belt in karate and an advanced black belt in Jiu-Jitsu under the American Federation of Jiu-Jitsu. He has been an instructor for 15 years.  He has trained law enforcement officers and military personnel.  He has won several grappling, karate, kickboxing, and MMA matches. In addition, he has trained with some of the greats in Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu such as Royler Gracie, Ralph Gracie, Ricardo “big dog” Alimedia, and Daniel Montanha.

 

 

 

 

 

Patrick Gallagher

Patrick is a purple belt under Ernest Bell.  He has been training since 2018.  He is the instructor for no gi class on Mondays and Wednesdays from                  7:30 p.m.- 8:30 p.m.  He also assists in the youth BJJ classes.

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

Mike Hagley

Mike is a brown belt under Ernest Bell. He has been training since 2007.

 

 

 

 

 

 

Cody trained and fought Amatuer MMA under Ernest. He finished with a 6-2 record

Cody Hazard

Cody is our wrestling and take down coach on Fridays from 5 pm – 7 pm.  He trained and fought amatuer mma under Ernest.  His career ended with a record of 6-2.  He has wrestled since the age of six.  While attending high school in Lyons, he placed twice during state wrestling.  His over all record is 124-15.  He placed 1st, 2nd, and 3rd in Freestyle and 2nd place twice in Greco Roman at State.  Cody attended and wrestled at Fort Hays State University and Northwestern College in Iowa.  He competed in the Sunflower Games winning the gold in 20+ year old and silver in the 30+ year old.  He was the head freestyle and greco coach for Renegade Wrestling Club in Lyons.  He also referees wrestling at all levels.
